Background

The Bruce Highway Upgrade Program is the largest road infrastructure program in Queensland, aimed at enhancing safety, flood resilience and capacity between Brisbane and Cairns.

Our Role

Complex Consulting Group has been assisting through the provision of Contract Administration and Technical Advisory services on the development and delivery of various Bruce Highway Upgrade projects within the North Coast Region.

Throughout this time Complex Consulting Group has provided the below services over the program of works.

• Acted as Contract Administrator within the project finalisation phase of the CR2SM (Bruce Highway: Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway) project.

• The Project consisted of an upgrade to both the Sunshine Motorway and Caloundra Road interchanges, a six-lane upgrade of the Bruce Highway between the two interchanges, as well as a fully connected service road on the western side of the highway. Including Australia’s first Diverging Dimond Interchange treatment.

• Acted as Technical Advisor within the planning and detailed design phases of the Bruce Highway: Dohles Rocks Road to Caboolture Bribie Island Road.

• The Project consists of an upgrade to the interchanges, bridge overpasses and an eight-lane upgrade of the Bruce Highway.
